Opioid Support

Peer Qnect is a free and confidential service run by Queensland Injectors Voice for Advocacy and Action (QuIVAA) to provide support to people who use substances, including those on the Queensland Opioid Treatment Program or seeking opioid treatment across the state.

The service provides:

• Opioid treatment support, advocacy and mediation

• Safer substance use and harm reduction information

• Assists with questions or concerns regarding a prescriber or pharmacy

• Support for experiences of stigma or barriers to accessing healthcare

• Peer Qnect also provides training for prescribers, clinics and relevant community services.
